Quality Support Technician

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Quality Support Technician at a leading specialty chemicals manufacturer based in West Yorkshire. As the Quality Support Technician you will be responsible for implementing quality and process improvement activities across the site. You will also be responsible for preparing samples and evaluating finished products.

To be considered for the Quality Support Technician role you will have a HNC or higher in Chemistry or a related field, knowledge of Polymer Science is highly desirable. You will also have previous experience accurately recording results and writing reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake Quality Support activities – including preparing samples and evaluating finished products.
Work on process improvement projects.
Conduct QC testing when necessary.
Investigate customer complaints.
Monitor QC and process data to identify issues.
Write technical reports.
Knowledge and Skills:

HNC and higher in Chemistry or a related field.
Ability to work independently in the laboratory.
Prior experience recording and analysing results.
Experience writing technical reports.
