Our client, a leading accredited provider of Compliance, Technical, and Safety training, is seeking a Water Networks Trainer to join their team in York, Derby, and Brentwood.
The Role:
You will be delivering training and assessments to up to twelve adult learners for the product area during each training course. Whilst supporting delegates to achieve desired learning and development outcomes. Performing practical exercises as well as classroom-based learning.
You will also work closely with the Operational Training Manager to maintain and develop their products, keeping them up to date.
Requirements:
- Water Distribution
- NCO Level 2 Water Mains/Service Laying.
- PE (Polyethylene) Welding techniques.
- Knowledge and experience of laying water mains and services as well as repair techniques.
- Trench Support.
- CITB Excavation Support for Timber Trenches and Shafts or Utility Excavation Categories 1-5 or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience of installing, maintaining, and inspecting trench support and shaft systems during live digs. Knowledge and experience of deep excavations above 2 meters would be beneficial.
- NRSWA (New Roads and Streetworks Act) Qualified to Supervisor Level is desirable.
- Holds a full UK Driving Licence.
- Level 3 Assessor Qualification (TAQA, A1 or equivalent) is desirable.
- Level 3 Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, AET or equivalent) is desirable.

- Able to develop positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Able to engage with all types of learners.
- Highly organised and able to multitask.
