Job Title: FP&A Analyst (Banking Sector)
Location: Near Maidstone - Hybrid working
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced FP&A Analyst to join an excellent organisation in a newly formed role.
As an FP&A Analyst within the banking division, you will be responsible for driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes to support strategic initiatives. You will provide key insights to senior management, enabling data-driven decision-making. You will come with experience within the banking sector as this will be critical to navigating regulatory requirements, managing risk, and delivering accurate forecasting models. Strong experience with balance sheets and revenue reporting within a bank is essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities of the FP&A Analyst.
Forecasting and planning
Ongoing development and improvement of forecasting processes
Modelling of balance sheet, NII, margins, regulatory capital and LCR: historic and forecast
Modelling of expensed and capitalised costs, taxes etc: historic and forecast
Support for ICAAP, including capital forecasts and stress testing
Support for ILAAP/Recovery Plan stress testing
Revenue management in the context of pricing, margins and balance sheet management
Pricing model maintenance
Cost management in the context of increased automation and balance sheet growthKey Requirements of the FP&A Anlayst
3+ years of FP&A experience within the banking or financial services sector is essential.
Strong expertise in balance sheet management and revenue reporting is a must.
Solid understanding of banking products, financial regulations, and capital requirements (e.g., Basel III, IFRS 9).
Advanced financial modelling and data analysis skills, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, or relevant financial software.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills
Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.How to Apply:
