The purpose of the role is to work with warehouse colleagues to ensure the efficient, safe and accurate storing, issuing and receipting of goods, stock and supplies in a timely and accurate manner and the delivery of high quality service to all customers.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
* Working as part of the Component Stores team the post holder will be responsible for:
* Taking delivery of goods, stock and supplies.
* Storing of goods.
* Preparation of stock for dispatch.
* Loading of stock by hand or forklift.
* Keeping records of stock.
* Assisting with stock taking.
* Keeping Warehouse and work area clean and tidy.
* Loading and unloading of goods from vehicle.
The post holder will also:
* Develop and maintain good working relationships with other internal departments to achieve accurate and timely delivery of products.
* Work as a full team member by carrying out any other duties which may reasonably be requested of the role when required.
* Undertake all duties in such a manner as to comply with Health & Safety and security procedures and guidelines.
Essential Knowledge / Skills
* Understanding of Warehouse processes.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* skills and the ability to assess and manage priorities.
* Diligent attention to detail.
Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 14:30-01:00
40 hours per week
