Steer Automotive Group, a leader in accident repair services, is looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join our expanding bodyshop team in Glasgow. Known for delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction, we are continuing to grow and seeking a skilled VDA to provide precise and professional damage assessments on a variety of vehicles.

About the Role

As a VDA at Steer Automotive Group, your primary responsibility will be to assess vehicle damage accurately, using Audatex to calculate repair costs and timelines. You'll collaborate with insurance engineers and customers, ensuring all assessments adhere to BSI PAS 10125 standards and the correct repair methods are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess a wide range of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models, within our bodyshop.

* Use Audatex to provide accurate repair costings and timelines.

* Work closely with insurance engineers and customers, providing detailed damage assessments.

* Ensure all assessments meet BSI PAS 10125 standards and manufacturers' specifications.

* Manage your workload to meet service level agreements (SLAs) within a fast-paced accident repair environment.

* Work independently as well as collaboratively with the team to maintain high standards of service.

* Maintain flexibility and continually strive for excellence, keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor with proven experience in the accident repair industry.

Key Attributes:

* Proficient in using Audatex for accurate damage assessments.

* Experience working with a range of vehicle types, including electric and hybrid vehicles.

* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.

* Able to work in a fast-paced bodyshop environment while adhering to manufacturers' standards.

* A strong team player who can also work independently.

* Committed to achieving the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction.

An ATA qualification in Estimating is preferred, and we are happy to support your continued development and certification renewals.
