Job Title: Manufacturing Productivity Engineer
Location: Dunton Essex
Rate: Negotiable
Employment Type: Contract Initial 4 Months (Contract to year end and then in year-end renewals process with Client)
Hours: Standard 37.5 Hours Per Week
Manufacturing Productivity Engineer Provide Productivity Engineering and Systems Support for Powertrain Programs either Re-tooled Engine Programs or new Powertrain led Engine, Power unit and Battery Programs.
Skills Required:
* You are familiar with Industrial Engineering practices, the engineering skills and systems required to deliver robust, safe processes that consistently meet quality and productivity requirements.
* This would include physical time studies, process allocation, ergonomic studies, machine cycle charts and work standards.
* You have a proven track record for delivering highly technical projects delivered by Cross Functional Teams.
* You are adept at working with key members of other skill teams, such as manufacturing operations, to address difficult issues by facilitating dialogue and gaining trust.
* You are familiar with Industrial Engineering practices, the engineering skills and systems required to deliver robust, safe processes that consistently meet quality and productivity requirements.
* You are expected to be a skillful problem solver.
* You should have knowledge using tools and process discipline to quickly resolve program issues by facilitating dialogue and identifying solutions.
* You should be proactive and keen to learn and collaborate with.
Skills Preferred:
* GSPAS and MODAPTs trained.
Experience Required:
* Strong prior experience as Productivity (Industrial) Engineer in industry or have held a Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineer role with Productivity Engineering responsibilities.
Experience Preferred:
* Engine, Power Unit or Battery Manufacturing.
Education Preferred:
* Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Productivity degree or equivalent to a 2:1 standard.
Additional Information:
Hybrid, up to 5 days in the office depending on collaboration requirements, min 1 per week.
Travel: Yes, Europe but infrequent.
