Role Purpose
The role purpose is to carry out asset condition surveys on a full range of corporate buildings.
Responsibilities
Plan and carry out a programme of site surveys in relation to condition, undertaking schedules of condition, dilapidations, measured surveys and defect analysis.
Write reports and calculate remedial costs. Identify and manage the updating of information and drawings.
Ideally have experience both in building fabric and engineering services and be able to confidently assess condition overall.
Follow and work with quality assurance procedures across projects and services.
Prepare and undertake specifications, drawings risk assessments and contract management for occasional small projects.
Requirements
Professional Chartered Membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) (Hold, working towards, or equivalent).
Experience in building fabric and services stock condition surveying.
Knowledge of the Building Regulations, Health & Safety and other relevant construction and building surveying related legislation.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate with all levels of internal and external parties.
Ability to work independently with minimal support.
Contract
Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend
PAYE via Umbrella
