Azure DevOps Engineer

Location: Egham, Surrey (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 + Benefits
Hours: 35 hours per week, flexible between 8:00am and 6:00pm

We are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to join a market-leading delivery management software provider. As part of our award-winning team, you will work with the latest cloud technologies to support, implement, and maintain Azure-hosted environments, ensuring they are scalable, cost-effective, and robust.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with existing DevOps engineers to manage and improve the Azure cloud environment.
Implement continuous deployment processes using Azure Pipelines, ensuring seamless and efficient software delivery.
Maintain and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration and oversee microservices architecture.
Provide technical support to development teams and escalate issues as needed.
Contribute to platform creation, improvements, and deployments while handling technical support escalations.
Work closely with development and application support teams to resolve technical issues and optimize platform performance.
Participate in out-of-hours deployment support and rota as required.

Skills and Experience:

2+ years of experience in DevOps practices, including implementing and maintaining Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
Strong expertise with Azure services such as Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Azure Git, and Azure Service Bus.
Proficient in PowerShell, MS SQL, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
Experience with centralized logging, health checks, and Azure Load Testing.
Familiar with Nginx and IIS for web server management.
Beneficial experience with Bicep, CloudFlare, ARM Templates, and Octopus Deploy.
