🔍 Key Responsibilities:

📋 Order Book Management: Creation, maintenance, and acceptance of purchase orders following corporate and client guidelines.
🕒 Hours & Expenses Reconciliation: Ensure accurate invoicing each month.
💰 Cashflow & Aged Debt Management: Maintain cashflow processes to hit targets.
🔄 Change Management: Take responsibility for handling project changes.
📊 Project Financial Ownership: Manage financial control systems, ensuring correct booking codes for all team members.📌 Core Accountabilities:

✅ Financial Accuracy: Manage weekly hours, invoicing, WIP, order book, and cash forecasting with precision.
📈 Data Integrity: Communicate accurate and reliable data to all stakeholders.
⚠️ Issue Identification: Highlight current or potential risks to the Business Manager.
🔐 Process Compliance: Adhere to approved procedures and execution plans.🎓 Required Experience & Skills:

💼 Project & Financial Management: Skilled in managing projects up to £5m annually.
💻 Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, and Teams.
📊 Financial Systems Expertise: Experience with business financial systems.
🏢 Commercially Aware: Understand cost control and contract management.
🧮 Estimation Knowledge: Ideally experienced with cost estimation and fixed-price contracts.
🔥 Self-Starter: Capable of working independently and managing your own workload.
💬 Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
🤝 Team Player: Comfortable working in a multi-company, integrated team environment.

Qualifications

🎓 Required Experience & Skills:

💼 Project & Financial Management: Skilled in managing projects up to £5m annually.
💻 Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, and Teams.
📊 Financial Systems Expertise: Experience with business financial systems.
🏢 Commercially Aware: Understand cost control and contract management.
🧮 Estimation Knowledge: Ideally experienced with cost estimation and fixed-price contracts.
🔥 Self-Starter: Capable of working independently and managing your own workload.
💬 Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
🤝 Team Player: Comfortable working in a multi-company, integrated team environment.💡 Desirable Experience:

🏗️ Nuclear Consultancy: Experience in the nuclear engineering consultancy sector.
🔄 AWR Knowledge: Understanding of Agency Workers Regulations (AWR).

🌍 Additional Information:

🏢 Location: Hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week in our Derby office.
🔐 Security: Must be a sole UK national eligible for SC clearance.
