Salary: £11.50 per hour £12.50 at the weekend/ Bank Holidays
Working Hours: To Be Agreed – Typically 20 to 25 hours per week, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Job Type: Maternity and Holiday Cover – Part-time. Flexible Contract.

Are you a reliable and kind person? Do you have a caring attitude and willingness to make a difference? Have good communication skills verbally and in writing? If so, we would like to hear from you as we are looking for Support Workers to join our growing and fantastic Nottingham based team.
We welcome applicants who are positive and enthusiastic, who portray a professional image and recognise the importance of their caring role to individuals. Our Support Workers engage with others in the community with personal care, medication support and social activities. They provide care support of the highest quality and in line with an agreed individual plan.
Experienced and enthusiastic Support Workers play a crucial part in our organisation. We provide the opportunity to allow them to help shape our company through career progression and address our service user’s individual care needs at their home.
For a Support Worker to be successful in your application, we require you to:

Hold a current and valid Care Certificate.
*
Have previous care experience, although we will provide training.
*
Be competent in Microsoft Word/ Excel.
*
Have a current driving licence and have access to a car.
*
Have an enhanced DBS clearance.
*
Be committed and value driven.
*
According to business needs, able to work part-time hours (to possibly include evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays).
Support Worker Key Responsibilities:
*
To develop warm and trusting relationships with service users to encourage them to express their needs, views, and concerns.
*
To be flexible and responsive to the needs of service users as directed by their Support Plans.
*
To advise and support service users in all aspects of managing their daily life and maintaining the safety, hygiene, and comfort of their home.
*
To promote the service user’s self-esteem and enable them to express their preferences and make choices and decisions.
*
To enhance the confidence and coping abilities of service users through encouragement and positive feedback.
*
To enable service users to maintain appointments and commitments.
*
To advise, encourage and support service users to maximise their self-care and independent living skills.
*
To support service users in meeting their cultural and spiritual needs and in expressing their identity.
*
To encourage service user’s to identify their strengths and interests and to support service users in accessing social, leisure, education, and work activities.
Enable Support Ltd is a local provider, rated good with its regulator, CQC.
