Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and various other locations throughout California. The ideal candidate will use portable digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment to perform X-rays, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images are obtained. Additionally, the technologist may perform EKGs as needed and submit them to a cardiologist for interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and process X-rays using portable DR or CR radiography equipment.
Transmit images to a radiologist for interpretation.
Unload, set up, and maintain portable X-ray equipment at each facility.
Perform EKGs when necessary and submit results for cardiologist review.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and facility staff.
Maintain and care for X-ray equipment and vehicle.
Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily.
Physical Demands:
The role may require pushing/pulling up to 50100 lbs using ramps and pulleys.
Technologists may need to exert up to 50 lbs of force up to 24 times a day when transporting equipment.
