At Hotel Royal Oak, we're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our hotel! As the first point of contact for our valued guests, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive.
Located in the heart of downtown Royal Oak, our boutique hotel offers a cozy atmosphere, modern accommodations, and easy access to a variety of local attractions, dining options, and entertainment. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service, ensuring each guest feels right at home during their stay.
Responsibilities
Warmly greet and welcome guests with a smile as they check in and check out
Efficiently manage reservations, process payments, and respond to inquiries
Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and recommendations
Handle guest requests and resolve any issues with a positive attitude
Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area
Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
Assist with administrative tasks and any other duties as assigned
Requirements
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for helping others
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management software preferred
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Knowledge of the local area and attractions is a bonus!
