Your new role

As our new Consultant, Geospatial, you will work with our project delivery teams to deliver a variety of geospatial solutions for our clients. You will be part of Ramboll’s innovation and digital transformation team, Galago. We are a small, fun team made up of commercial and technical experts, and are seeking a motivated geospatial expert to join our team, learn, and help us deliver excellent projects. This role will provide essential support to our Scan-2-BIM specialist and GIS/remote sensing analysts, assisting in project execution, data collection, and client deliverables.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Assist in 3D laser scanning and photogrammetry processes under the guidance of the Scan-2-BIM specialist.

Support GIS and remote sensing analysts in data management, analysis, and data collection.

Contribute to the creation of 3D models, report documents, and client-specific deliverables.

Aid in the maintenance and organization of geospatial databases and project documentation.

Collaborate with team members on various geospatial projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and with high accuracy.

Your new team

Galago is an innovative service born out of Ramboll that aims to improve environmental outcomes by using the next generation of spatial management tools. We do this by working with landowners and remedial site operators to help them safeguard and protect their land. We use aerial, drone, and satellite data to map our clients’ land, and then use geospatial analysis and AI methods to find areas for environmental improvement or change. We give our clients a snapshot-in-time of any immediate issues, and we also help them monitor how their land changes over time, diagnose why it is changing, and whether this is an issue, and recommend what they need to do about it. About you

Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2+ years of related experience.

Basic understanding of geospatial technologies and applications.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills in geospatial analysis and Scan-2-BIM workflows.
