My client are a leading fit out and refurbishment contractor delivering exceptional professional services to a number of leading clients across the UK. Projects include shop fitting, bars and restaurants, and leisure schemes, valued up to £5m.
With a strong pipeline of diverse and exciting projects, they are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their team.
Key responsibilities to include:
Cost control and value management strategies.
Monthly forecasts, CVRs, and Profit & Loss statements
Manage subcontractor payments.
Provide guidance on contractual issues.
Variation Account and forecast final accounts.
Responsible for the production of tenders, budget estimates and cost plans.
Review of bid documents, drawings, specifications, and other reports applying a good understanding of all components of a tender submission.
Identify any financial, design, production, and contractual risks/opportunities.
Measure quantities and produce Bills of Quantities and/or oversee their production by others.
Ensures enquiries are issued and quotations received from subcontractors and suppliers.
