The Role - Teacher of Maths in Broxbourne

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or early careers teacher to join an excellent department for a Permanent contract.

The successful applicant should be confident teaching Maths up to KS5, familiar with the UK curriculum, and skilled in creating engaging and effective lesson plans that follow a scheme of work.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience: You should have recent experience working in UK schools, preferably within secondary education. Experience teaching Maths across different Key Stages, including KS3, KS4, and KS5, is highly desirable.
Curriculum Knowledge: You should be up to date with the UK Maths curriculum, including recent changes and developments. Familiarity with exam board requirements and assessment criteria is essential for ensuring students' success.
Specialist Knowledge: A strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to convey these in a clear and accessible manner is crucial. You should be capable of inspiring a love for Maths in students of all abilities.
Classroom Management: Effective classroom management skills are essential to maintaining a positive learning environment. You should be able to handle a variety of classroom situations with professionalism and care.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are required to engage with students, parents, and colleagues. You should be able to provide constructive feedback and maintain open lines of communication to support student development.
Enhanced DBS Check: A valid Enhanced DBS check is mandatory, ensuring you meet the safeguarding requirements to work with children.Key Points:

Pay Scale - M1 to UPS3 depending on experience
