Robotics systems for the Life Science sector
An opportunity to join a well-funded and rapidly growing start-up developing robotics for the Life Science industry. Multiple positions are available for Mechanical Engineers to take the lead on different modules of a ground-breaking product.
With experience working in highly regulated industries, the Mechanical Engineering Leads will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of robotic manufacturing systems. The systems could range in size from small precision electromechanical devices to large-scale factory automation modules. Ensuring on-time delivery whilst maintaining demanding standards will be essential.
You will join a thriving, multi-disciplined team of mission-driven scientists and engineers, intent on making a positive contribution to the Life Science field. There will be plenty of opportunities for career development and a highly competitive salary and benefits package is available to successful candidates.
You will need:
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
• Proven, extensive, experience in the design and development of complex electromechanical devices and/or manufacturing equipment.
• A track-record of driving and delivering complex technical products from early product development to transfer-to-manufacture.
• Experience within the Life Science field is ideal, but experience gained (for example) within aerospace or other highly regulated industries would also be relevant and considered.
• Full existing rights to work in the UK without time limit.
