Dunbar Education is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Marston, Oxford. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join the school and support pupils in KS1 and KS2. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children's education while working in a collaborative and nurturing environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide classroom support to the teacher, helping to deliver engaging and effective lessons
Work with small groups of children or individual pupils to enhance learning and development
Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and learning materials
Support the management of pupil behaviour, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment
Help pupils with their reading, writing, and numeracy skills, ensuring they stay on track with their learning
Monitor pupils' progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
Assist with the supervision of pupils during school activities, including break times and school trips
Promote inclusion and help ensure that all pupils feel supported and valued

Key Requirements:

Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
A patient, caring, and adaptable approach, with a passion for supporting children's learning and development
Strong organisational skills, able to support the smooth running of the classroom
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
