A Shropshire based energy solutions provider is seeking a full-time Trainee Service Engineer to assist senior engineers with routine servicing, maintenance, and repair of biomass boiler systems.

As the Trainee Service Engineer your tasks and responsibilities will include:

Assisting senior engineers with routine inspections, service and maintenance of biomass boiler systems.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
Repairing or replacing faulty components.
Record keeping of service and maintenance activities.
The Trainee Service Engineer will have the following skills and attributes:

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Electrical or mechanical qualification is desirable.
Basic understanding of biomass boiler systems, PLC controls and reading technical manuals, schematics, would be a distinct advantag
Hold a valid UK driver's license.
You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from the Market Drayton office and from various sites around the UK. Travel to client sites will be required and occasional nights away may be needed. Overtime is available on request.
