Align ENT & Allergy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care within our physician-led ENT and Allergy practice.
Responsibilities
Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering patient care, providing support to ensure efficient and smooth clinic flow.
Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and assisting with procedures.
Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.
Assist with allergy testing, pulmonary function testing, and other diagnostic procedures.
Administer medications, including allergy shots, as directed by healthcare providers.
Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of medical equipment and instruments.
Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and self-care instructions.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred.
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical practice or clinic setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic clinical procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
