Piedmont Aviation Component Services is looking for a qualified Production Planner / Data Analyst. The Production Planner / Data Analyst reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for managing the ERP system for assigned customers; coordinating customer demand/schedules with operational processes for customers; relays any customer communication, changes and schedule issues with the operations team and is responsible for ensuring those operations follow company safety practices.

This is an Hourly position working day shift and some weekends.

Essential Job Functions:

Performs final review of all APU paperwork before final quality inspection.

Responsible for the coordination of Company operational services and/or products meeting customer demand and schedule.

Manage assigned projects thru the ERP system and notify the assembly team of any issues

Update the ERP system with revised information.

Maintain up-to-date and accurate order records using the Company contact database and customers’ web based portals as well as verbal communication.

Formulate project schedules and plans to position the company to meet customer expectations.

Work closely with Customer Support to supply updates on customer schedules and request technical and non-technical information to successfully complete customer jobs.

Understand the technical scope of our operational capabilities and use their customer liaisons to further improve our process and delivery performance as well as customer sales.

Assist and support manufacturing planning/scheduling in meeting Customer’s expectations.

Participate in weekly Production Meetings.

Develop, maintain and update production schedules, reports and KPIs.

Travel to vendors and customers as needed.

Assist Sales Manager and Manufacturing Group in administrative duties as required.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED minimum.

Three to six years of demonstrated successful project and customer interface experience in a technical atmosphere and bachelor’s degree in a business or supply chain field preferred.

CPIM certification desired.

Strong background in Production control systems.

Prefer operations background (aerospace and/or automotive).

Computer proficient, especially Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

Ability to perform Project Planning for new products and customers.

Ability to communicate at all levels with prospective customers. Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills to include: Creation/preparation of briefing charts and detailed correspondence/documents. Verbally expressing ideas and thoughts in joint meetings/formal briefings with staff

Problem solver in a team atmosphere.

Ability to work with minimal supervision, in a team atmosphere.

Assertive, aggressive and good at time management, being able to manage multiple tasks.

Positive spokesperson for the Company included commitment, positive attitude and professionalism.

Excellent organizational skills.
