RMC is hiring a Senior Network Administrator to support IT work at NSWC Crane. The selected applicant will provide quality solutions in support of RDT&E network. Responsibilities in this position include but are not limited to:

Develop and maintain network architecture and infrastructure including installation, test, upgrades and other required maintenance. This infrastructure includes, but is not limited to, the border security stack, remote site hardware, Software Defined Networking (SDN), storage/compute fabric, WAN/LAN, and management network.

Experience with F5 (APM/SWG/GTM/LTM) services is preferred.

Experience with configuring Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) including posture modules is preferred.

Knowledge of network mapping tools such as RedSeal is preferred.

Experience troubleshooting network communication issue with SIEM tools like Splunk.

A working knowledge of the Azure Cloud Environment is preferred.

Provide network configuration and documentation including network drawings and hardware/software lists.

Ensure services, configurations, and infrastructure conform to all applicable SLAs, MOA/MOUs, and Design Documents. Create and submit reports showing SLA compliance.

Provide administration and network security on all production service.

Manage system resources in the monitoring of performance, capacity, availability, serviceability and recoverability.

Implement security procedures, resolve hardware and software interface and interoperability problems.

Ensure system availability, functionality, integrity and efficiency, and maintain system configuration and documentation.

Manage the installation and integration of system fixes, updates, and enhancements.

Create and update documentation of standard procedures and processes.

Respond to assigned service requests, as well as maintain and update service request ticketing system with accurate accounting of the details of tasking performed.

Documenting these details includes, but is not limited to, problem resolution, time spent, follow-on actions, resulting change requests or subtasks, and closing out tickets in a timely manner.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related field is preferred. In lieu of a degree, an additional four (5) years of relevant work experience or certifications/training are required.

At least five (5) years of experience in network design, administration, procedures and troubleshooting is required.

The selected applicants must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level III Certification (CASP +) and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&E environments.

Security Clearance: An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
