Overview:

Johnson Financial Group (JFG) is looking for an Information Security Intern for Summer 2025 at our main office in Racine!

As an Information Security Intern with JFG, you will get well-rounded, hands-on experience with our Information Security team. This position will be located at our headquarters in Racine, WI. Throughout this internship, you will gain exposure to Information Security Risk, Business Continuity Management (BCM), Security Awareness and Training, and Information Security Operations.  

During this internship you will have the opportunity to:

Gain exposure to a variety of information security processes and procedures.

Gain exposure and some hands on experience to several industry leading security technologies with our current SIEM, EDR/MDR, DLP, and IAM Solutions.

Assist with responding to real time security incidents.

Assist with documenting and updating playbooks and/or workflows for InfoSec Operations and Risk

Assist with Information Security Risk Assessments

Learn about Business Continuity Management.

Participate in Security Awareness Training and possibly develop a monthly phishing campaign.

Exposure to vulnerability management, dashboards, and metric reporting.

Qualifications:

Actively seeking a degree in computer science, information security, information systems, or related field; with an interest in information security/cybersecurity.

Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as CIS, NIST, FFIEC and ISO 27001 a plus

Experience with Python and/or PowerShell a plus.

Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing

Minimum GPA of 3.0

Reliable transportation

Duration:           10 weeks; June 2nd, 2025 – August 8, 2025

Salary:              $22.00/ hour
