IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A TOOL REPAIR TECHNICIAN STARTING AT $30.45/HRLY

Wabash Plastics, Inc. is an established plastic injection molding company seeking dedicated individual to join our maintenance team.  As a Tool Repair Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment. This role requires strong mechanical skills and attention to detail to ensure all molds are functioning properly and safely.  We offer an air conditioned, well lit, clean and safe work environment.

Our compensation package includes:

Competitive Wage – current starting pay is $30.45/hour including shift premium

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

Inspecting and assessing equipment for damage and wear

Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on injection molds

Troubleshooting and testing molds to ensure proper functionality

Fabrication of custom fixtures and gages

Documenting all repairs and maintenance activities

Requirements:

Must be able to work ANY 8-hour shift.

Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to push/pull objects across work area

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends

Good communication skills and ability to work well with others

Must be willing to work overtime to support demand

Knowledge of precision tools and measurement instruments

Experience welding, grinding, and polishing

Experience with operating drills, mills, and lathes

Ability to read, write and speak in English

Experience with injection molds preferred
