Overview:

This position supports initiatives within the Wealth organization that span all Lines of Business with Executive Management reporting, analytics, product profitability and ultimately visualization to help drive actionable decision making.  Reporting delivered using Tableau, Microsoft BI, Cognos depending on requirements.  Assisting in the improvement of enterprise data quality, governance, and analytics. Drives positive change across Wealth through technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives. Creates and maintains technical documentation related to enterprise data. Provides expert consultation to team members, the Information Technology department, and other stakeholders on tactics that achieve data management goals.

Responsibilities:

Line of Business Support - Developing and maintaining rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources.  Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets. Interpreting data and analyzing results using methodologies, formulas and techniques within data visualization toolsets, such as Tableau, Microsoft BI, Cognos.

Data Quality/Accuracy - Identifies and implements enhancements for the quality, management, and storage of enterprise data. Executes initiatives that improve profiling, exception reporting, and issue resolution.  Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by consistently reviewing and quality-checking the data sources, visualizations, and dashboards.

Business Tactics - Facilitates initiatives that develop the Bank’s data management capabilities. Assists management in creating and implementing business plans to achieve planned objectives. Maintains a strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies or trends impacting the financial service industry.

Documentation & Training - Creates and maintains technical documentation for the Wealth Executive reporting, which includes source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, and other related materials as appropriate.  Training Line of Business executives/staff on new reports and dashboards, providing technical support as necessary

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in quantitative/computer science/business analytics discipline with 4 years data management, financial analysis, or similar experience. OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in quantitative/computer science/business analytics discipline.

Preferred Skills: Development of reporting in Tableau, Microsoft BI, Cognos, SQL, or related programs, Tableau Certified is ideal
