Overview:
Reports To: Executive Director, Insurance and Investment Services
This is a Supervisory Position
Functions Supervised: Global Credit Union Inurance Brokers staff and operations.
Primary Functions: Lead and oversee GCUIB sales and service staff, effectively grow the agency's book of business, and supervise adminsitration, compliance, IT and marketing functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review, analyze and execute personal lines sales goals, retention and growth targets.
Oversee marketing materials, campaigns and event involvement consistent with GCUIB objectives to create sales opportunities, and maximize community service and value.
Ensure excellent service to interrelated departments, branches and GCUIB clients, by ensuring strong and consistent procedures, product delivery and account management and sales support.
Establish departmental goals, priorities and projects with senior management, coordinate and track progress.
Oversee compliance, administration, operations and IT functions and projects, ensuring that they are executed according to industry best practices, GCUIB goals and organizational initiatives.
Assist senior management in the identification of potential new markets, products and opportunities, and the evaluation of existing carriers and offerings.
Coordinate personnel actions; ensure appropriate staffing levels, supervision and training.
Manage and enhance relationships with insurance carriers ensuring loss ratios, contingency payments and established and renewing agreements are maximized to benefit GCUIB.
Review GCUIB operational procedures and practices, and implement process improvements, client service enhancements, risk controls, and automation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Valid Property and Casualty license. Industry designations such as CIC, CRM, CPCU, etc. preferred.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Ten years of increasingly responsible experience in the insurance agency or carrier capacity, with at least five years in a supervisory or management role.
Experience/Skills: Thorough understanding of personal lines insurance agency products, operations, and agency management software. Must demonstrate strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, communication, and management abilities. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

Salary Pay Range: $106,378 - $188,646 annually. Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
