Overview:
Location: Breakthrough Care Clinic Lisle; May require some travel to surrounding clinics: Auora or Wheaton
Hours: Full Time/ Mon through Friday 8-430PM except Tuesdays 10-630PM. No Weekends
Responsibilities:
Collaboration with medical team: CMA to communicate needs to the physician and RN with mindset focused on resolving problems for patients and achieving team goals
Processes patient phone messages, returning calls and routing them to other team members as appropriate; calls patients to obtain and relay pertinent information for the physician.
Greet patients and assist with scheduling follow ups, measuring vital signs and collecting health history
Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures
Certified medical assistants assist with immunizations or injections
Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing
Conduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests
Maintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits
Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values
Ability and willingness to travel locally and/or regionally up to 10% of the time to assist in covering other centers, as needed (Lisle or Wheaton)
Provides outreach calls to a defined group of patients to support healthy lifestyle choices. Follows up with patients via phone calls
Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow

Several of our clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, require active medical assistant certification through one of the following:
American Medical Technologists (AMT)
National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire required
May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care
