Salary:  $15-$17/hour

Clinic Hours: M-Th 6:30am - 7:00 pm; Fri. 6:30 am - 4:30 pm

Clinic Address: 300 E Sonterra Blvd. San Antonio, TX 78258

Responsibilities:

This key role encompasses all front desk operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient administrative support. Essential duties include patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, referral coordination, insurance verification, authorizations, and payment collection. 

Welcome guests upon arrival, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that reflects our family-oriented culture.  

Facilitate patient check-in and check-out per company policies and procedures, ensuring the accuracy and completion of all required documentation. 

Professionally manage incoming calls, directing patients and inquiries to appropriate departments or individuals. 

Professionally manage multiple communication channels within the different teams throughout and outside the company and with other businesses, such as referring providers' offices or patients.  

Accurately register patients and create accounts in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. 

Effectively schedule appointments for both new and returning patients. 

Perform administrative tasks, including preparing patient charts, verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, entering data, and collecting payments promptly and efficiently.  

Complete opening and closing procedures, along with other duties as assigned. 

Consistently provide outstanding customer service while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.  

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED required. 

MS Office, basic office support skills (telephone, filing, data entry) and basic math skills. 

Excellent telephone etiquette, pleasant personality and amazing customer service skills. 

Verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly communicate with others. 

Previous experience in a similar role desired but not required.
