We are looking for a Reliability Engineer for our Alvalle factory. Your main responsibilities are:

Responsibilities:

Lead the site Asset Reliability program. Own and develop the site Major Incident Report (MIR), Analytical Problem Solving (APS), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) systems, and be the “gatekeeper” for effective closure ensuring all relevant improvements are coordinated via appropriate teams.

Embed asset reliability into the site's maintenance strategy and ensure plans are in place to deliver the long-term improvement agenda, unplanned downtime is effectively reduced, and repeat failures are eliminated through reliability processes.

Manage the site Condition Monitoring & Lubrication function on the route to a “zero (planned) maintenance time concept” – this will drive an increase in technical availability.

Support the planning of any failure-related ‘corrective’ / ‘preventative / RCA’ work – Use design-out methods (DOM) to manage OEM & new investment.

Formal evaluation loop - Use CMMS system to deliver accurate analytical data, identify areas for improvement, ensuring failures are averted – Top 10 (Frequency, cost & downtime) / Pareto analysis / Cost summary reports and effective data analysis to identify ‘hot spot’ areas.

Use cost summary details to highlight ‘Hot Spot’ areas dependent on P/Kg & CARV measures – by line, by area. Drive plans to resolve Top 3 issues per period.

Support the Maintenance Coordinator to deliver Manufacturing Equipment Excellence through ‘Excellence in Execution’, ensuring all PMs are value-driven, cost-effective, and the site has the technical capability (Right skills, right task, right place). Drive value from the PM system. Promote a ‘Less Is More’ culture in preventative maintenance and drive low-cost reliability improvements.

Accountable for the site criticality program. Integrate RCM protocols to ensure the most cost-effective maintenance requirements on critical equipment are implemented and reviewed through a systematic review of the existing maintenance (REM) process (Review RCM).

Key stakeholder in delivering PEMM results for the Maintenance Support Department, owning the Reliability section – if applicable: Support the Maintenance Coordinator to deliver the ‘Blue-Chip’ strategy to enable the Site to become a maintenance “Centre of Excellence”.

Drive maintenance plans agenda for MBI (Maintenance-By-Impression) – This must be promoted effectively as the future of planning.

Duty Holder of work at height (GEHSMS).

Duty Holder of MESS (GEHSMS).

Responsible for legal inspections.

Support the plan of the annual overhauls (planning, spare parts, technicians, etc.).

Support LOTO program.

Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Strong decision-making, communication, and facilitation skills.

2-3 years of supervisory experience.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Proficient in CMMS, with data analysis and report writing experience.

5 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing.

Green Belt in Six Sigma, with RCA and problem-solving skills.

RCM, PFMEA, and FMEA qualifications.
