What you'll do:

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Government team in Carlsbad, CA! This hybrid role offers the unique blend of working collaboratively within our Carlsbad office and the flexibility of remote work.

This role provides the opportunity to collaborate on closing the books each month, develop financial models to support investment decisions, and prepare informative reports for customers.

The day-to-day:

You will collaborate with the accounting team to ensure a smooth and accurate month-end close process. This includes assisting with data collection, reconciliation, and the preparation of timely financial reports.

Develop detailed business cases and perform thorough return on investment analyses. Your recommendations will be critical in supporting decision-making for investments and business initiatives.

Develop and manage complex financial models that align with leadership's objectives and adhere to appropriate accounting standards. These models will be instrumental in forecasting performance, evaluating investment opportunities, and making strategic financial decisions.

Prepare accurate, timely, and consistent reports, including key financial metrics and key performance indicators. You will demonstrate these reports to identify trends, analyze performance, and provide insights to stakeholders.

What you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Project accounting experience.

Experience in the development of detailed business case analysis and return on investment analysis.

Proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, VBA).

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What will help you on the job:

Understanding of CAS, FAR with prior government contracting experience.

CPA or CFA designation is a plus

Prior experience using Oracle or SAP

Salary range:
