Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities: 

The Accounts Payable Supervisor, leads the daily operations of the Accounts Payable (AP) team, develops and monitors internal accounting controls, and ensures the timely and accurate processing of all supplier transactions and payments 

As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will build and manage relationships with internal and external customers, and participate in key AP projects and initiatives 

You will supervise assigned personnel on all projects and related work, establish performance requirements, clarify responsibilities, conduct performance appraisals, and plan for individual employee development 

You will analyze reporting data to identify and implement streamlined processes, best practices, and internal controls for the AP function 

You will create operational and functional objectives and work plans, delegate assignments to the team, and monitor metrics, reporting, and team performance 

You will support auditors in their program execution, supervise the coordination of workflow and documentation requirements, review audit findings, and ensure processes are developed to minimize future issues 

You will ensure that all AP general ledger accounts are reconciled, maintained in a current status, and properly reviewed and approved 

Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:   

Bachelor's Degree with 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) and 7 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience  

 Preferred Education and Experience:  

 Master’s Degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
