The Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute (SSIHI) is a part of the Susan & Henry College of Health Sciences and UCI Health. The Samueli Institute works to transform healthcare through the practice of integrative health by conducting rigorous research, promoting evidence-based treatment modalities, educating the public on well-being practices, providing individualized, patient-centered clinical care and providing services to the community that focus on obtaining optimal health.

Responsibilities:

The Lead Programs Coordinator applies knowledge about curriculum, requirements and educational activities to coordinate various and dynamic professional health education programs. Coordinates and maintains program operations, which may include teaching and learning activities, program curriculum, learner scheduling, maintaining databases, tracking learner compliance, and program accreditation. Oversight and coordination of current SSIHI programs include but are not limited to, the Health and Wellness Coaching Program, the HEAL-IM Program, the Naturopathic Post-Graduate Training Program, the Culinary Medicine Elective, the Integrative Cardiology Fellowship and more. The Lead Programs Coordinator will also support the Administrative Director of Education to streamline program processes and develop SOPs for existing and new programs.

Qualifications:

Required:

Thorough knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements. Solid knowledge of health professions education program requirements. Thorough knowledge of health professions education industry.

Thorough knowledge of administrative analysis and operations research. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement processes and systems. Thorough knowledge of the administrative and operational implications in a program.

Demonstrated experience and documented excellence in oral and written communications skills; includes active listening and critical thinking.

Strong interpersonal skills. Actively cooperates and supports the work of others. Ability to work productively with anyone regardless of background. Empathetic and aware of impact on others. Strong problem solving skills to assist learners and resolve issues.

Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to complete work and meet established deadlines in an accurate and timely manner, and to manage short and competing deadlines.

Thorough knowledge of educational software and platforms. Demonstrated ability to analyze and seek solutions to enhance the user experience.

Thorough knowledge of data management, documentation methods used in investigating and presenting findings about the program. Skills include statistical analysis of data across databases and systems.

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training

At least 3- 5 years of relevant experience.

Advanced knowledge of planning and organizing educational programs and events.

Preferred:

Knowledge and/or experience working in the field of integrative health.

Master's degree in related area preferred

Special Conditions:

Must be willing to work nights and/or weekends for events, meetings and conferences.
