Overview:

Summary: The role is responsible for professionally managing an internal emergency communications and response team. The individual will also install, troubleshoot, and project manage the company wide audio-visual infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Directly supervises emergency communications personnel.
Develops and updates standard operating procedures for emergency operations personnel as well as critical response plans.
Reviews and rehearses critical response plans with all three shifts.
Schedules all leave with emergency communications personnel to maintain a two-person team on duty at all times and covers gaps in coverage when required.
Maintains a working knowledge of all emergency communications systems including cameras, alarms, GPS and other systems as they are added and ensures staff is trained as needed.
Process and prioritizes incoming emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance and informs appropriate persons.
Performs related administrative duties, such as maintaining logbooks and other record-keeping tasks as assigned.
Provides first line technical support for internal customers with regard to building and home automation, and audio-visual (AV) infrastructure.
Ability to project manage audio-visual (AV) contractors and projects for AV installation and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 2 years in supervisor capacity
Minimum 5 years related experience
Prior project management experience
Audio Visual experience is a must
Advanced knowledge of software skills related to cameras, access control, mass notification, Microsoft Word, Office, and Excel.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be willing to travel 10% of the time to other locations with some occasional overnight stay.
