For this role we're seeking a person with leadership qualities and capabilities to act as a 2nd shift Production Supervisor.
Why this role? You will lead a team working on first generation technology in our Madison plant with an opportunity to use your "let's figure this out" mindset.

Hours:
2-10pm, M-F
Responsibilities:
Assign daily work to production staff and oversee related processes in order setup, assembly, production machinery operation, and shipping to maximize effectiveness of personnel available.
Interview, hire, and train your production team
Act as a champion of safety standards with your team by enforcing and ensuring all safety standards are met
Responsible for coordinating/communicating the production hand offs with other shifts to ensure the continuation and completion of production schedule.
Collaborate with team mates to assure an effective daily line-management process to maximize short term and medium-term actions needed to minimize downtime and maximize overall cost effectiveness.
Partner with master scheduler, buyers, HR, and safety partners throughout the day on company initiatives
Responsible for implementing a production plan to assure attainment volumes needed to meet customer demand.
Maintain financial targets on the production lines and identify areas for continuous improvement
Qualifications:
3+ years in a supervisory capacity in a manufacturing strongly desired.
You find developing and mentoring through cross training, skill development and open communication rewarding
You thrive when maintaining open lines of communication through daily and weekly shift briefings.
You are inquisitive and are excited by working with and learning about Lean principles, Six Sigma and other quality management systems
You have a natural ability in effectively presenting information and engage in problem solving with large groups and respond to questions from managers, customers, vendors, or other employees within the organization
You have leadership/supervision experience.
Associates degree or higher a plus.
