Responsibilities:

The Wound Ostomy/Continence RN develops and coordinates the hospital Ostomy Care program. This position is located in the outpatient Wound Care department and assists with complex inpatient wound/ostomy patients.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

RN experience in clinical setting. Must be willing to be trained in and care for patients needing HBOT and TCO2 assessments

BSN in Nursing required or evidence of pursuing on a continuing basis.

Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA required.

California RN license

Completion of an accredited WON or WOCN Program

Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) Certification or Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) certification required. Other applicable certifications may be considered.

Verbal and written communication and presentation skills, strong computer skills
