Overview:
The Facility Construction Manager, reporting to the Vice President of Central Operations, manages all construction-related communication, timelines, deliverables, project scopes and other critical functions relative to denovos, expansions, remodels, or any other facility needs and meet the criteria for centralized management and support.
The Manager receives oversight and mentorship from the VP, with direct communication, partnership, service, and accountability to the Facility Department Team. The manager works amongst MB2 departments, field operations, contractors, vendors, operating owners, and others, as needed, to execute facility department projects seamlessly and efficiently. The coordinator executes projects, as directed by the VP of Central Operations, in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner, while maintaining day-to-day department communication.
In addition, the Manager collaborates with the Facility Department to document procedures and create scalable processes that are continuously evaluated and updated to meet the needs of the business. The Manager upholds the highest level of integrity, work ethic, written and verbal communication while adhering to company policy and standards.

Once a project is initiated, plan scope, document, publish, and keep up-to-date
Obtain quotes and collaborate to gain approval
Always provide a written agenda to vendors, owners, or others, prior to onsite assessments and remote meetings
Always provide a written recap of onsite assessments and remote meetings
Provide distribution lists with weekly project recaps
Execute site visit reports & punch lists
Assess each project, at its conclusion, and determine best practice, lessons learned and applies those findings to process improvement.
Lead facility projects, outside of department menu of services, as directed.
Meet with the MB2 departments, on a regular basis, to give and receive feedback.
Collaborate with the facility department to document workflows
Train operations team on process workflow, as needed
Qualifications
Minimum five years of construction management experience (ideal candidate has knowledge of a dental practice)
Extremely organized and able to work amongst multiple platforms: intranet, communication channels, project management programs
Strong communication, written and verbal skills
Ability to time manage, work amongst multiple departments and be accountable to deadlines
Strong ability to document and create training material to support department functions
Ability to work 40 hours per week from the MB2 main office while in the field, as needed
Ability to work independently, as well as in a group setting and one on one
Will require travel based on the needs of the capex projects (~25%)
Able to represent the company in the highest level of integrity and character while at MB2 Dental and onsite in the field at job sites
