Overview:
As a Temporary Houskeeping Service Attendant, you are responsible for assisting and supporting the Executive Housekeeper in meeting quality and timeliness standards so that customer properties are cleaned to a standard of excellence and ready to receive guests on time.
Position Purpose
This position is a short-term assignment to assist during periods of seasonal high-demand and periods of peak load. The Temporary Housekeeping Service Attendant will be responsible for cleaning, maintain, and inspecting rooms, suites and indoor common areas at client properties and working in support positions that may include Laundry, Common Area Cleaning and Unit Inspections.
Qualifications:
Experience and Education Requirements
Highschool Diploma or equivalent
Other Qualifications
Ability to make decisions
Planning and scheduling capabilities
Ability to read, write and do basic math
Use of long term and short-term memory
Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the positions, examples of which include:
Prepare units for cleaning and clean units which include cleaning of the living rooms, dining rooms, patios, kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas. Unit cleaning also requires the removal of trash, replacement of bed linens, dusting and cleaning floors and other specific duties required under MasterCorp policy and procedure including the 7-Steps Process. Inspect units to ensure presented appropriately for guest’s arrival
Inspect common areas to ensure clean and free of linen and debris
Report lost and found items to manager
Collect soiled linens and towels from units and/or facilities and deliver to laundry
Launder and replenish linens and towels
Monitor and replace as needed detergent and other cleaning agents
Fold/distribute clean linens to proper storage or unit linen bags
Make linen and supply bags as directed
Launder and deliver clean linen and/or supply bags to units
Empty trash, lint traps, vents and vacuum bags
Assist with inventorying of supplies and linens
Report any noted maintenance issues to manager
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of laundry and storage areas
Make guest deliveries as directed
In addition to the example of tasks above, each Temporary Housekeeping Service Attendant is expected to:
