About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dynamic Building Envelope Consultant to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role, you will provide building enclosure and waterproofing services to clients. You will serve as the primary contact for projects related to new construction and existing structures, overseeing waterproofing design and the evaluation of foundation systems, facades, and roofing assemblies. If you're passionate about building envelope systems and have a proven track record in waterproofing design, condition assessments, and forensic investigations, we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

Consult and inspect building envelope-related services including windows, fireproofing, masonry, roofs, curtain walls, and pre-cast concrete.

Prepare project proposals, manage projects, and oversee billing and budgeting.

Lead business development efforts, focusing on building client relationships and growing the business.

Assume Profit & Loss responsibility for each project and manage project-specific revenues and expenses.

Provide creative and practical solutions to meet client needs and expectations.

Produce and oversee the production of high-quality technical reports.

Core Competencies:

Building Envelope Consulting: Expertise in waterproofing, air barriers, and roofing systems.

Project Management: Ability to manage project finances, scheduling, and client relationships.

Business Development: Skilled in growing client relationships and networking.

Technical Reporting: Proficient in producing high-quality reports with limited guidance.

What You Bring:

Bachelors or Master's degree in Construction Management or Architecture.

10+ years of commercial construction experience, with a proven track record of managing consulting services.

LEED Certification and knowledge of Green Building practices.

Valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.

Ability to pass a background check in accordance with Florida's Jessica Lunsford Act.

Strong communication skills and computer proficiency.

Skills Required:

Building Envelope Consulting: Expertise in below-grade waterproofing, air barriers, and roofing systems.

Project Management: Proficient in managing construction consulting services and P&L responsibilities.

Commercial Construction: Strong understanding of the real estate development and construction industry.

Industry Practices: Knowledge of ADA, OSHA, IBC, and other regulations.

Certifications: RRC, RRO, and Air Barrier Certification preferred.

Certifications:

LEED Certification Required.

Professional Architect License Preferred.

Roofing/Waterproofing Manufacturing Certifications Preferred.

Air Barrier Certification of America Preferred.

Education:

Bachelors or Master's degree in Construction Management or Architecture Preferred.
