About the Role:

Were on the hunt for an experienced Patent Litigation Associate to join our clients team in San Diego. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of patent litigation experience and a background in electrical engineering or computer science. This role involves handling all aspects of patent litigation, from Markman hearings and technical analysis to discovery management and trial preparation. Your Mission:

Prepare and handle trial of patent matters, including Markman hearings.

Conduct technical analysis of products and patents.

Manage all aspects of discovery preparation, including document review and production.

Work closely with experts and assist with their reports and depositions.

Conduct and defend depositions of witnesses and experts.

Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents.

Collaborate with team members and clients to develop effective litigation strategies.

Core Competencies:

Patent Litigation Expertise: Proven experience in handling patent litigation, including trial preparation, Markman hearings, and discovery management.

Technical Background: Preferred experience in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.

Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Client Relationship Management: Professionalism in engaging with clients and managing their litigation needs.

What You Bring:

Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.

Admitted to or eligible for admission in California.

3+ years of patent litigation experience in district court and/or before the International Trade Commission (ITC).

Technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings.
