Summary:
This position supports the Finance & Accounting leadership of the company with analyses and insights to drive the business forward. you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with our finance team to support daily accounting operations and contribute to the overall financial health of the company
Responsibilities:
Complete monthly reconciliations with input from Senior Accountant & Controller
Perform bank reconciliations
Posting of weekly and semi-monthly payrolls and recurring entries
Assist in year-end and other audits
Assist in tax and regulatory filings as needed
Execute on corporate accounting calendar and reconciliation tracking
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or similar discipline
1-2+ years of progressive accounting or audit experience, in public or industry
Strong general knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
CPA or actively pursuing is a plus
