Job Duties and Responsibilities

Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers.

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Conduct various welding activities, including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.

Perform boiler chemical testing and make necessary chemistry adjustments.

Resolve safety concerns promptly and effectively.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of both indoor and outdoor work areas.

Manage and maintain inventory of supplies.

Prepare and maintain maintenance records accurately.

Oversee work performed by both internal and external service companies.

Respond to emergency alarms and situations.

Mentor and guide Maintenance Technician I partners.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Minimum of 5 years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or the military.

Ability to read and comprehend maintenance literature in English.

Proficiency in reading blueprints.

Basic skills in Microsoft Office.

Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8-hour shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of boiler operations.

HVAC experience.

Experience with and ability to perform welding activities.
