Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manage projects from conception to completion, including design, documentation, and procurement.
Design dies, fixtures, weld jigs, and processes using 3-D CAD software.
Create required documentation, including prints and bills of materials (BOM).
Program components for fabrication using 3-D CAM software.
Provide support for tooling assembly and implementation.
Assist in problem-solving for production and maintenance departments.
Set up machines and inspect parts in production to ensure quality.
Collaborate with outside vendors and support various departments as needed.
Support company goals and maintain professional standards in all interactions.
Handle confidential information regarding manufacturing know-how and patents.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Minimum of two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred experience in metal tube fabrication and welded assemblies
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong knowledge of engineering theory and manufacturing techniques
Proficiency in 3-D CAD/CAM software, preferably Autodesk Inventor and Feature-CAM
Creative problem-solving abilities and effective time management
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Resourcefulness and tact in dealing with internal and external business contacts
