Company Overview: 

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the furniture industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join their team in New York City.

Position Overview: 

The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure the quality and efficiency of furniture production, overseeing a couple of associates. This role involves quality inspections, coordinating with production partners, maintaining product specifications, and product development. The position is based in NYC, with in-office work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays, including travel across the US approximately once a month.

Responsibilities:

Conduct weekly visits to production partners to review products ready for shipment.

Perform quality audits and inspections.

Document and maintain product specifications.

Implement production changes and adjustments.

Support the product development team with sample measurements.

Address urgent quality issues as needed.

Manage and coordinate the activities of the NC hire and the HQ associate.

Drive product development initiatives and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications:

5-8 years of experience in upholstery and case goods, quality assurance, and product development.

Experience in furniture manufacturing.

Strong attention to detail and project management skills.

Proficient in problem-solving with a proactive approach.

Valid driver's license.

Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Design) within the last 10-15 years.

Location: 

New York City (in-office Monday-Thursday, remote on Fridays)
