Translate functional business requirements into a technical solution that conforms to internal design standards.

Excellent understanding of LTM/GTM configuration (VIPs, Persistence, SNAT, SSL, custom health monitors, etc.).

Experience in writing and troubleshooting complex iRules.

Intermediate knowledge of networking and systems administration; and the ability to troubleshoot problems.

Knowledge of troubleshooting tools, such as: tcpdump, logs, curl, and Wireshark.

Knowledge of http protocol versions, headers, methods, and status codes.

Availability during evenings and weekends for P1 issues and scheduled change controls.

Qualifications:

8 + years of Network engineering experience.

Bachelors degree or higher in an area of technology and/or F5 BigIP certification.

Professional networking certifications, such as CCNP, are desirable.

Experience in architecting, implementing, and supporting critical enterprise level LAN and WAN technologies.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and change focus as needed.

Ability to maintain precise documentation and network diagrams.
