Currier Plastics, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Industrial, Mechanical or Quality Engineer to join our team. This position will play a key role in supporting the manufacturing operations and ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction.

The Industrial, Mechanical or Quality Engineer will be responsible for analyzing production processes, identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions, and monitoring process performance to ensure continuous improvement. Additionally, this role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities:

Conduct analysis of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.

Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Monitor process performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Participate in new product development projects to ensure manufacturability and quality.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.

Create and maintain documentation related to manufacturing processes, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans and procedures.

Support and contribute to the overall quality management system.

Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to manufacturing and quality engineering.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality tools, such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including injection molding and assembly.

Experience with quality management systems and tools, such as ISO 9001 and FMEA.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and MS Office applications.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
