Physician Assistant (PA) Needed!

Position Overview:

Assesses, diagnoses, plans and implements the medical care of patients in collaboration with a physician. Functions within the full scope of licensure; accountable for the assessment, coordination delivery and evaluation of care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. Provides medical consultation including the performance of therapeutic procedures delegated by the supervising physician, assist with various procedures, provides patient education, treatment and follow-up, may complete daily rounds and as needed using an organized multi-disciplinary team approach to provide continuity of care throughout the care continuum.

The Physician Assistant's responsibilities may include managing patients in an office, hospital, emergency and/or perioperative setting. 

Working Hours: 

Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm shift

Salary: 

$130,000-$150,000 per year (salary range based on experience) + Full Benefits

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and review medical records of patients

Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including blood tests and X-rays

Diagnose and treat various health conditions and illnesses within the scope of family medicine

Develop personalized treatment plans for chronic and infectious diseases

Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses

Maintain accurate and organized patient records and schedules

Educate patients and their families on diseases, epidemics, and preventive measures

Oversee and manage patients' overall health and well-being

Promote healthy lifestyle practices and preventive care

Stay updated with the latest advancements in primary care through research and professional development

Requirements

Master's degree in Physician Assistant 

Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

State licensure as a Physician Assistant 

Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a family health clinic or similar setting

Specialization or expertise in family medicine

Extensive clinical experience in primary care

Strong knowledge of health and patient care regulations

Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction

Ethical approach and dedication to patient-centered care

Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude for collaborative work

Patience and ability to handle diverse patient needs

Willingness to continuously enhance knowledge and clinical skills

Must have DEA number
