The ideal candidate has excellent clinical skills, a passion for direct patient care, and the ability to function well autonomously. Responsibilities & Duties:
Evaluate and treat patients using the most current technology and practices
Communicate with the physician to decide the initial plan of care based on initial patient assessment & physician’s orders
Successful management of a consistent case load
Participate in clinical outcomes monitoring, follow up, and agency performance improvement initiatives
Manage and educate Home Health Aides and LPNs performance in implementing nursing services
Ability to work in a collaborative environment with an interdisciplinary team
Travel the San Antonio area and surrounding area
Requirements
Skills & Requirements:
Current and unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas
Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience
Current CPR certification
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license with no DUI's, revocations, or suspensions in the last 5 years
Exceptional customer care
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
