Touchstone Health of San Antonio is actively seeking qualified and compassionate PRN Registered Nurses to care for our patients in the San Antonio and surrounding area. The ideal candidate has excellent clinical skills, a passion for direct patient care, and the ability to function well autonomously. Responsibilities & Duties:

Evaluate and treat patients using the most current technology and practices

Communicate with the physician to decide the initial plan of care based on initial patient assessment & physician’s orders

Successful management of a consistent case load

Participate in clinical outcomes monitoring, follow up, and agency performance improvement initiatives

Manage and educate Home Health Aides and LPNs performance in implementing nursing services

Ability to work in a collaborative environment with an interdisciplinary team

Travel the San Antonio area and surrounding area

Requirements

Skills & Requirements:

Current and unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas

Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience

Current CPR certification

Reliable transportation, valid driver's license with no DUI's, revocations, or suspensions in the last 5 years

Exceptional customer care

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
