Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant

Schedule:
Monday - Friday
9 - 5 pm or 8 am - 4 pm
Patient Volume: 1-2 patients an hour

Key Responsibilities
Administers therapeutic exercises and physical therapy modalities according to the physical therapy plan of care
Implement treatment plans and adjust exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist, ensuring patient well-being is the top priority
Instructs, motivates and Assists patients to learn and improve functional activity, such as pre-ambulation, transfer, ambulation and daily living activities
Fit patients for, adjusts, and trains patients in the use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, walkers and wheelchairs
Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records with attention to detail
Requirements
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution
Current California state license as Physical Therapist Assistant.
Must have 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic settings.
Strong manual therapy skills and training.
Familiarity with EMR Software (e.g., WebPT).
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach
Ability to work independently and within a team, fostering collaboration and respect
