About the Nursery

We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Level 2 Nursery Nurse to join this Nursery and contribute to the positive experience of children in the nursery.
The Role
As a Level 2 Nursery Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day activities of the nursery. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, implementing the curriculum, and creating a fun and engaging environment. The nursery values each child's individual needs, and the Level 3 Nursery Nurse is essential in helping each child reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support the developmental needs of children in the nursery.
Create a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment within the nursery.
Observe and assess the progress of each child, maintaining accurate records for the nursery.
Work closely with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
Engage with parents and carers to provide regular feedback on their child's progress at the nursery.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the nursery.
Promote positive behaviour and social interaction among children in the nursery.
Follow the nursery's policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of all children.
Personal Care
Assisting with meal times
Qualifications:
Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to the nursery's mission.
Clear DBS on the update service
