Service Engineer – West Yorkshire – Mechanically Biased - £40-45k + x1.5 overtime + 25 days holiday + access to pool van – UK coverage
Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a special purpose machine manufacturer based in West Yorkshire.
Key aspects of the Service Engineer role include –
* The company is easily commutable from large parts of West Yorkshire including places such as Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Ilkley, Skipton, Shipley, Halifax and Otley – when the successful Service Engineer isn’t out on customer sites, they’ll be based on the shopfloor in West Yorkshire
* Service Engineers applying are likely to be mechanically biased, with some electrical appreciation/knowledge
* Knowledge of working in food factory environments - strongly preferred
* Growing company – over 25% increase in year on year turnover
* Hours worked over and above the standard 37.3/week are paid at x1.5
* Identify opportunities for upselling and upgrades and involve Sales team with identified opportunities, including refurbishments and new equipment.
* IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S Qualification – ideal
* Prepare RAMS
* Full UK driving licence – essential
* Inspect site work, carry out surveys and maintain service stock
* The company has been established for over 40 years and is a well-known brand in their market, known for manufacturing high quality, long lasting machines.
* All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
