Job Advert: Material Controller**

**Location:** Manchester

**Salary:** £27,500 per annum

**Working Arrangement:** Office-Based

**Client Description:** Specialist in Engineering, Freight, and Rolling Stock

**About Our Esteemed Client:**
Our client is a prominent figure in the realms of engineering, freight, and rolling stock. They pride themselves on creating a dynamic work environment that fosters innovation and advancement. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Controller to join their team in Manchester.

**The Role: Material Controller**
We're looking for a proactive and organised individual who will maintain and manage the flow of materials within the company, ensuring that quality and quantity of stock are maintained at all times.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Overseeing the planning, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products

* Maintaining quality control and inventory levels

* Working closely with the purchasing department to forecast future material demands

* Assisting with audits and developing strategies for inventory management

* Working with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of materials.

**Your Skills & Experience:**

* Previous experience in a similar role 2 years minimum - material controller/logistics co-ordinator

* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

* Strong communication skills and a team player

* Knowledge of inventory management systems and processes

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
